We are looking to hire a Business Analyst to join our team. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases
Your responsibilities:
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business report.
• Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes.
• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
Training end users on new reports and dashboards.
• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Skill sets/Experience we require:
• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Knowledge of statistics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
Qualification:
• Bachelors’ degree in Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
