About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results‑oriented Inside Sales Business Development Manager to drive business growth across the Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B sales, lead generation, territory development, and end‑to‑end sales cycles for AI, IT Services, SaaS, Consulting, or Talent Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities within the Australia region.
Conduct outbound activities such as
cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and nurturing sequences
.
Build strong sales pipelines through research and targeted prospecting.
Sales & Client Engagement
Present company offerings to CXOs, Directors, Procurement teams, and Hiring Managers.
Manage the complete inside sales cycle from first contact to opportunity conversion.
Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure smooth handover to delivery/operations.
Maintain a consultative approach while understanding client challenges and providing suitable solutions.
Market Research & Intelligence
Stay updated on Australia market trends, industry verticals, competitors, and customer demands.
Work closely with marketing to refine campaigns for the ANZ region.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Australia.
Engage with warm leads, inactive accounts, and referral networks to generate new opportunities.
Reporting & CRM
Maintain accurate records of interactions, lead stages, and forecasts in CRM tools.
Share weekly and monthly sales reports, pipeline summaries, and performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
3–7 years
of inside sales or BDM experience (preferably targeting Australia/ANZ region).
Proven success in
B2B lead generation, outbound sales, or international sales
.
Strong communication skills with a
neutral or international accent
(preferred for ANZ communication).
Experience in IT Services, SaaS, Cloud, Digital Transformation, or Talent Solutions (advantageous).
Proficiency in
CRM tools
(HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with clients in Australia/ANZ.
Understanding of ANZ business culture, time zones, and communication etiquette.
Familiarity with sales automation and outreach tools.
