Role Summary
The
Bakery Sales & Operations In-Charge
is responsible for
driving bakery sales
, managing
online delivery platforms (Zomato & Swiggy)
, ensuring
smooth order execution & delivery
, and
coordinating daily production and packaging
with the Head Chef.
The
primary focus of this role is increasing sales and visibility of bakery products
across online and offline channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Growth (MOST IMPORTANT)
Increase daily, weekly, and monthly bakery sales.
Plan and execute offers, combos, and add-ons on Zomato & Swiggy.
Improve menu visibility, photos, descriptions, and pricing strategy.
Push high-margin and fast-moving bakery items.
Track sales trends and suggest new products with Head Chef.
Ensure upselling through packaging inserts and online recommendations.
2. Online Portal Management (Zomato & Swiggy)
Handle day-to-day operations of Zomato & Swiggy dashboards.
Manage menu updates, stock availability, pricing, and images.
Coordinate during peak hours to avoid delays and cancellations.
Handle customer complaints, ratings, and reviews professionally.
Monitor portal metrics (order acceptance, prep time, cancellations).
3. Order Processing, Packing & Delivery Coordination
Ensure correct and attractive packaging of all bakery orders.
Maintain packaging quality to avoid spillage or damage in delivery.
Coordinate with delivery partners and service staff for timely dispatch.
Verify order accuracy before handover to delivery executives.
Ensure brand presentation through stickers, labels, and sealing.
4. Production Coordination
Coordinate with Head Chef for daily production planning.
Share order forecasts based on portal trends and promotions.
Ensure required items are prepared and packed as per demand.
Avoid overproduction and minimize wastage.
5. Customer Experience & Brand Image
Ensure high ratings on delivery platforms.
Resolve issues related to delay, missing items, or packaging.
Encourage repeat orders through consistency and service.
Maintain brand standards in every order leaving the bakery.
6. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily and weekly sales reports.
Track portal-wise performance and growth.
Share improvement suggestions with management.
Monitor competitors’ pricing, offers, and best-selling items.
