Devops Engineer II

This role requires a software professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for coming up with innovative solutions along with developing and motivating others. Work you'll do
As a Software Specialist Engineer II on the GP&S team, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day DevOps activities, partnering with cross-functional teams, and contributing across infrastructure planning, design, development, deployment, and testing.
Analyze business and technical requirements and work with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify scope and solution needs
Support DevOps architecture, automation, and deployment activities across the product lifecycle, including performance, scalability, and cost optimization
Manage system and application configuration changes to meet technical specifications and business requirements
Perform proof-of-concept activities and recommend infrastructure changes for enterprise platforms in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services cloud environments
Research product capabilities and provide implementation guidance to internal teams, leadership, and partner teams

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical or scientific field
3-6 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, or platform support
Experience with PowerShell and Terraform scripting
Experience with Azure cloud services and managing cloud-based infrastructure
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, and Bicep
Experience designing and implementing continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment automation
Experience with version control systems and configuration management tools
Preferred:
Experience supporting enterprise platform infrastructure in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
Experience performing proof-of-concept activities for infrastructure, automation, or deployment solutions
Experience with infrastructure performance tuning, scalability improvements, and deployment optimization
Experience estimating effort and coordinating with onsite and cross-functional teams
Cloud certification in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or artificial intelligence technologies
