1. Role Overview
The Energy Accounting & Commercial Settlement Executive will be responsible for coordinating with SLDC, GEDA, QCA and internal teams for all matters related to energy accounting, credit allocation, tracking of payments and plant commissioning status for renewable energy projects under O&M management.
The role requires strong coordination with regulatory authorities, QCA, internal technical teams, and end consumers to ensure accurate energy crediting and timely resolution of issues.
2. Key Responsibilities:
A. Coordination with SLDC/GEDA:
Coordinate with
SLDC officials
for matters related to:
Energy accounting
Energy injection records
Energy credit allocation to consumers
Meter data validation
Follow up with authorities for
pending energy certification or accounting corrections
.
Ensure timely submission of required documents, data, and reports.
B. Energy Credit Monitoring
Track
monthly energy generation and energy credit allocation
for consumers.
Verify credit data from SLDC/DISCOM against internal generation data.
Identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions with authorities.
C. Co-ordination with QCA for payment settlement and addition of new plant in F&S
D. Consumer Coordination
Communicate with consumers regarding:
Energy credit received
Deviations or short credit issues
Clarification on energy accounting and billing.
Resolve queries related to energy settlement and credit allocation.
E. Internal Coordination
Coordinate with internal
O&M, technical, and regulatory teams
to:
Track generation data
Validate meter readings
Monitor plant performance affecting energy credits.
F. Plant Development & Commissioning Tracking
Coordinate with project development teams to track:
Status of new plant development
Commissioning timelines
Synchronization and regulatory approvals
Maintain updated status reports of upcoming plants and expected energy injection.
G. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain records of:
Energy accounting statements
Communication with SLDC/DISCOM
Consumer credit records
Prepare periodic reports on:
Energy credit status
Pending regulatory matters
Commissioning progress.
