Job Overview:
The CSR Associate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and programs.
Drive employee volunteering programs across the company, contributing to measurable social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage CSR programs and partnerships on an end-to-end basis, including program design, partner identification, execution, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Support in developing and managing CSR action plans, including deployment planning, tracking expenditure, and ensuring optimal utilization in line with approved objectives.
Conduct periodic program reviews to assess impact, outcomes, and effectiveness, and recommend improvements where required.
Ensure full compliance with applicable CSR regulations, statutory requirements, and internal governance processes.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation in line with regulatory, audit, and governance guidelines.
Plan and promote employee volunteering initiatives in coordination with CSR partners and internal stakeholder departments and teams.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to drive internal and external engagement, develop impact stories, and support brand building through CSR initiatives.
Build and sustain strong partnerships with non-profits, community-based organizations, corporate foundations, government bodies, and other relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate the convening of the organization’s internal sustainability council.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Sustainable Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related/equivalent disciplines.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in CSR portfolio program management with corporates (BFSIs preferred), multinational companies, corporate foundations, or reputed development organizations.
Experience in handling development sector challenges and solutions, CSR-related regulatory compliance requirements and governance frameworks.
Good working knowledge of rules and regulations governing corporates and NGOs; familiarity with CSR best practices is an advantage.
Managing multiple programs and stakeholders simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise messages for diverse audiences.
Ability to work on an individual contributor basis
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with emerging AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot etc.)
