About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate SEM Specialist to join our growing digital marketing team. This role is based in India but focused primarily on managing and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns targeting United States audiences and markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong English communication skills, proven experience managing Google Ads and Meta advertising campaigns, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to proactively identify trends and opportunities within campaign performance data. This individual should be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This person will report to the associate director of digital media  Key Responsibilities Paid Search & Paid Social Management Build, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across: Google Ads Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) Monitor daily campaign performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, bidding adjustments, and ad copy testing Improve campaign KPIs including: Cost Per Lead (CPL) Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) Click-Through Rate (CTR) Conversion Rate Assist in campaign audits and competitive analysis Analytics & Reporting Analyze campaign performance data using: Google Analytics Google Ads Meta Ads Manager Microsoft Excel Create recurring performance reports and dashboards Utilize advanced Excel functions including: VLookup/XLookup Pivot Tables Conditional Formatting Data Validation Basic formulas and data analysis techniques Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights from marketing data Client Communication & Collaboration Communicate professionally and clearly with United States-based clients via: Email Video calls Messaging platforms Slack and Microsoft Teams Participate in campaign strategy discussions and internal meetings Provide clear written and verbal updates regarding campaign performance and recommendations Strategic & Proactive Thinking Stay updated on changes and trends in: Google Ads Meta advertising platforms Analytics tools Digital marketing best practices Proactively recommend improvements to campaign structure, targeting, creative, and reporting Demonstrate initiative and ownership over assigned accounts and projects Qualifications Professional Competencies Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing: Google Ads campaigns Meta/Facebook Ads campaigns Strong understanding of: Google Analytics Paid search optimization Paid social optimization Conversion tracking Marketing performance analysis Current Google Search Certification required at time of hire Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Experience communicating directly with United States clients strongly preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated Preferred Qualifications Meta Blueprint Certification preferred Experience with: Google Tag Manager Looker Studio/Data Studio Google Sheets Conversion tracking setup UTM tagging Familiarity with lead generation campaigns in competitive industries Agency experience preferred Key Traits We Are Looking For Self-starter mentality Strong attention to detail Data-driven thinker Proactive communicator Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Passion for digital marketing and continuous learning Strong sense of accountability and ownership Work Environment India-based remote position Must be comfortable working with USA-based clients and time zones as needed Collaborative team environment focused on growth, innovation, and measurable results Will need to be available to work USA Central Time Zone (UT -6) 8:30am to 5pm.
