POSITION SUMMARY:
BOT VFX, a visual effects services company with global clients, is looking for an
Associate Producer
as a full-time
Permanent
role. The position is based out of Chennai.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing critical support to client-facing producers by managing bidding, awards, and change orders.
Maintaining clean data in production and billing systems to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Delivering consistent financial status reports as required by the project stakeholders.
Working closely with VFX, DFX, and CG supervisors to support incoming bid packages and project estimates.
Coordinating with Production Managers to ensure new bid packages are tracked and estimated timely.
Collaborating with production teams to build and manage schedules and capacity usage forecasts.
Tracking cost-to-date and kill fees accurately to ensure appropriate and timely billing to clients.
Supporting production teams with the scheduling of briefing sessions, turnover calls, and production meetings.
Acting as a liaison across departments to ensure smooth workflows and proactively flagging conflicts.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in the media production industry, with 4 or more years in live-action VFX coordinating or production.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of VFX production workflows, production scheduling, and cost estimation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management and production management software tools.
Soft Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to be succinct and clear across different cultural nuances.
Soft Skills: Extremely organized and disciplined with a strong eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
Soft Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, producers, leads, and artists.
Soft Skills: Proven ability to prioritize conflicting tasks and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge: Solid background in film, animation, or VFX production processes.
Knowledge: Ability to work within a team towards common goals while managing independent deliverables.
