About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 12 The Team   Risk & Valuations Services (RVS) is part of S&P Global Market Intelligence, providing data, insights, and analytics to   wide   range of customer segments across financial markets.   Part of a   highly collaborative team ,   the ideal candidate combines   a   depth of   hands-on security experience ,   proactively   identifying   exploitable risks, effectively remediat ing   risk,   along with providing   solutions and   guidance at   scale across a large portfolio of products .    As well they will need to   partner closely within MI and Enterprise   security   to ensure safe, authorized, and controlled operations.     Responsibilities and Impact   Execute hands ‑ on application and cloud penetration testing across assigned product portfolios, focusing on real ‑ world exploitability and business risk.   Plan and conduct red team activities   in accordance with   approved scope, authorization, and Rules of Engagement defined by Corporate Offensive Security.   Leverage AI ‑ assisted testing techniques (e.g., intelligent discovery, fuzzing, and analysis) to improve coverage, efficiency, and testing quality.   Engage directly with product and engineering teams to explain attack paths, prioritize findings, and   facilitate   timely , durable remediation.   Validate remediation effectiveness, ensuring exploit paths are fully closed and do not regress.   Leverage findings, remediation   efforts   and guidance to drive education and stronger proactive security posture in alignment with Corporate and Divisional security teams.   Produce clear, management ‑ ready reports that communicate exploitability, impact, and remediation status.   Contribute to enterprise offensive security standards, playbooks, and threat scenarios.     Required Qualifications   Hands ‑ On Offensive Security   10 + years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, application security, or offensive security engineering .   Strong   expertise   in web, API, and cloud ‑ native testing, including authentication, authorization, and identity abuse scenarios.   Experience testing modern architectures (microservices, CI/CD pipelines, containers, SaaS).   Hands ‑ on scripting or development experience (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript) to support exploit development and automation.   Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25, and secure development practices.   Governance and Collaboration   Demonstrated experience   operating   within formal red team programs that include rules of engagement, legal authorization, and incident response coordination.   Proven ability to partner effectively with engineering, AppSec, Cloud Security, and Incident Response teams.   Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey risk to both technical and   business stakeholders at all levels.     Preferred Qualifications   Offensive security certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSCE, GXPN, CRTO or equivalent experience).   Experience testing AI ‑ enabled or agentic systems.   Experience with threat   modeling   and   secure architecture review.     About S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
