GALE embraces a hybrid, flexible workplace The Associate Director, Social effectively manages team members and provides strategic depth to their team. Social Managers are responsible for mentoring junior team members, developing innovative media plans/proposals and managing day-to-day client relationships. They should be thought leaders in paid social strategy. What you will be doing - 1. Create key client strategies and ensures that the team is aligned on strategy and process. 2. Gain an understanding of each client’s business, their objectives, and their competitive landscape. 3. Develop and maintain relationships with key paid social partners including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snap and LinkedIn. 4. Establish client relationships with accurate and timely communication. 5. Ensure best practice and innovation in all activities. 6. Demonstrate knowledge sharing across teams to scale social efforts. 7. Manage and develop direct reports and holistic team development. 8. Define new initiatives, identify opportunities to grow client revenue and up sell capabilities. 9. Collaborate with other teams including paid search, programmatic and planning Contribute to new business development when requested. 10. Exhibit leadership across teams and agency. Who you are - 1. 10+ years in a digital agency, with a focus on biddable media and Paid Social. 2. Experience managing large scale Paid Social Campaigns, inclusive of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. 3. A history of success collaborating effectively with internal and external partners, clients, peers, partner agencies and vendors. 4. At the forefront of all Paid Social developments and technologies. 5. Strong managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team Well-honed communication skills with senior audiences. 6. Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environment. 7. Advanced project management skills for managing client expectations. 8. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. 9. Strategic planning for revenue and team growth. 10. Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written. 11. High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
