POSITION:
EVERSANA’s Data & Analytics practice is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an Associate Director / Director to help lead and scale this growth. This role is a senior leadership position responsible for owning large, complex integrated engagements from a Data & Analytics perspective.The Associate Director / Director will act as a strategic partner to US-based stakeholders and clients, providing thought leadership, ensuring delivery excellence, and driving business impact. This individual will oversee multiple workstreams, guide cross‑functional teams, and take accountability for end‑to‑end engagement success, including client satisfaction, delivery quality, and team development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Client Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary Data & Analytics leadership contact for US-based internal stakeholders and client partners on assigned engagements.
Partner with client leadership to understand business objectives, shape analytics solutions, and translate strategic needs into high-level delivery roadmaps.
Lead executive-level communications, including weekly/monthly governance updates, steering committee presentations, and strategic reviews.
Manage and grow relationships with external data providers and third‑party vendors, ensuring seamless coordination, compliance, and delivery.
Actively identify opportunities for scope expansion, upsell, and cross-practice collaboration in partnership with commercial and account leadership.
2. Engagement & Delivery Ownership
Provide overall ownership of integrated data and analytics engagements, ensuring outcomes align with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee project planning, resourcing strategy, delivery governance, and risk management across multiple workstreams.
Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and drive mitigation strategies at a leadership level.
Ensure strong collaboration across Data Engineering, CRM, Dashboarding, Patient Analytics, and Advanced Analytics teams.
Maintain high standards for quality, scalability, and sustainability of analytics solutions delivered to clients.
3. Domain & Thought Leadership
Provide strategic oversight and thought leadership across Sales Force Effectiveness and Commercial Analytics initiatives, including:
Field Force Sizing & Structure
Segmentation & Targeting
Territory Alignment
Call Planning
Incentive Compensation Analytics
Affiliation Mapping
Patient-Level Analytics
Executive and Operational Dashboards
Leverage deep understanding of US Pharma commercial data ecosystems, including Hub, claims, Rx, SP/SD, CRM, call activity, and formulary data.
Guide teams on data triangulation and advanced analytics approaches to drive measurable commercial impact for clients.
Stay current on industry trends, evolving data sources, and emerging analytics methodologies, incorporating best practices into client solutions.
4. Analytics & Technology Oversight
Provide strategic oversight of:
AI/ML use cases applied on the various areas related to delivery
Python / SQL‑based data transformations and business logic
Tableau and visualization frameworks aligned to executive KPIs
Excel‑based and automated reporting solutions
Ensure analytics outputs adhere to scalability, performance, and governance standards.
Champion storytelling, insight generation, and executive‑ready presentations that influence decision‑making.
5. People Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, coach, and mentor managers, leads, and individual contributors, building strong delivery teams and leadership pipelines.
Set clear expectations, delegate effectively, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews, provide career guidance, and support succession planning for key roles.
Promote collaboration and engagement across US and India teams operating in multiple time zones.
6. Process Excellence & Practice Building
Establish and govern best practices, SOPs, and delivery frameworks across Data & Analytics engagements.
Ensure robust documentation including BRDs, process maps, checklists, and reusable assets.
Contribute to practice growth initiatives, including solution development, internal thought leadership, and capability building.
Support internal initiatives related to quality standards, compliance, and operational maturity.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
10–15+ years of experience in Pharma Commercial Analytics / Sales Force Effectiveness / Incentive Compensation / Targeting & Segmentation, with demonstrated leadership at scale.
Proven experience working directly with US-based life sciences clients and deep familiarity with US pharma datasets (claims, Rx, SP/SD, Hub, affiliation, formulary, CRM, etc.).
Strong understanding of analytics delivery models, data platforms, and visualization tools (Tableau, SQL, Excel).
Demonstrated success managing senior stakeholders across geographies and time zones.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to senior and executive audiences.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with delivery accountability in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
Experience applying modern tools, methodologies, and governance practices to improve delivery effectiveness.
