We are looking for a Associate Director - Agri & Forestry to lead and scale SatSure’s Agri Business across India, with a strong focus on revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.
Our Agri Business vertical focuses on delivering data-driven intelligence and insights to insurance companies, input providers, commodity traders, and farm equipment companies — enabling better decision-making across the agricultural value chain.

Role Overview:
This is a role responsible for building a scalable business across India's markets.
The role will combine business leadership, enterprise sales, partnerships, and market development, with direct visibility to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and deliver the P&L for the Agri & Forestry Business (India), including revenue growth, margins, and overall business performance.
Define and execute the India GTM strategy, with a roadmap to scale into international markets.
Drive aggressive revenue growth through a mix of new client acquisition, key account expansion, and partnerships.
Identify and scale opportunities across:
Crop intelligence (acreage, yield, monitoring)
Agri insurance and risk analytics
Forestry and Agro Forestry value chain
Expand SatSure’s footprint across new geographies, crops, and use cases.
Build and manage CXO-level relationships across:
Commodity traders, Input companies & agri corporates
Insurance companies and government stakeholders
Lead large, complex deal cycles including strategic accounts and multi-year engagements.
Build and scale partnerships with Consulting firms, Agri ecosystem players, Multilaterals, government, and institutional stakeholders
Drive channel and alliance-led growth models.
Work closely with product, data science, and delivery teams to shape solutions aligned to market needs. Influence product roadmap based on customer insights.
Ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term value creation.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Agri Business team across sales, account management, and partnerships.
Establish strong execution discipline, forecasting, and performance management systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA/PGDM or equivalent (preferred).
8 -12 years of experience in sales/business development, with strong exposure to: Agri / Agri-tech / Rural ecosystems
Proven track record of:
Scaling a business or vertical
Managing large enterprise accounts and complex deals
Strong network across the agriculture value chain and financial institutions.
Experience in solution-selling / SaaS / data-driven products is a strong advantage.
