GALE embraces a hybrid, flexible workplace Your Role- We are currently seeking an AssociateDirector, Ad Ops & Ad Tech to help drive our end-to-end campaign execution process and measurement implementation across all clients. What You Will Be Doing - * Builds, leads, and develops a team by providing direction and guidance to managers and associates on career development; Conducting weekly meetings, providing constructive feedback to associates to enhance skills, knowledge, institutional knowledge, and work performance; conducting performance and career development conversations; engaging and mentoring less experienced managers and associates. * Lead the development of Ad Tech and Ad Ops strategies and roadmaps through collaborative internal assessment of capabilities, resources, and make strategic recommendations. * Be the ad trafficking subject matter expert and go-to person across offices for ad ops and ad tech related questions and issues. * Develop and promote technical roadmaps to modernize, enhance, and support the scalability and agility needed for Kaizen, our internal campaign management platform. * Assist with investigating and resolving ad delivery issues, technical troubleshooting, and providing optimization recommendations. * Collaborate with Ad Operations team members on creating processes to prevent errors, ensuring consistency around setup and monitoring, to create a strict QA workflow. * Partner with media planning, channel teams and other operational teams to ensure full delivery and optimal performance across campaigns. * Implement Floodlights and other media tags using a Tag Management System (e.g. Google Tag Manager) when necessary - Who You Are - * 10+ years of relevant experience with deep subject matter expertise in Ad Ops solutions and architecture, with a track record of driving efficient growth at scaled technical investment levels * Strong experience with Campaign Manager 360, with the ability to teach others. * Experience with digital platforms: programmatic (DMPs, DSPs, Exchanges), second- and third-party vendors, ad servers of all types (display, video, social, mobile), Tag Management Systems (Google Tag Manager, etc.), and/or VVF vendors (viewability, verification, and fraud prevention) like DoubleVerify or IAS * A people-first leader equally comfortable setting a vision and development strategy as well as rolling up your sleeves and helping the team get the job done. * Quick learner with the eagerness to learn new technologies and pioneer new workflows. * Lead strategic and technical process improvements and innovation roadmap. * Knowledge of media platforms and associated media measurement pixels and APIs. * Possesses a curious mind and is driven to exceed. * Independently manage relationships with internal and external parties on projects. * Highly detail-oriented, an excellent time manager, obsessed with accuracy, a strong critical thinker, and able to juggle multiple tasks/clients. * A good communicator – able to write clearly, speak professionally, and teach complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a way that helps the ideas stick. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that can be translated by both the technical-minded and the sales-minded. * A passion and/or skill for training and development, as the role involves both doing your work and supporting others on the team in their pursuit of excellence.
