Responsibilities:
Plan, initiate, and manage projects according to predetermined timelines.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on project status to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage project resource allocations to optimise project efficiency and profitability.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Conduct project post-mortems and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing technical projects in a corporate or organisational setting.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
Experience managing Agile development projects and familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a positive attitude and fostering a collaborative team environment.
