Responsibilities
Lead and strengthen the Bank's Transaction Surveillance framework by driving effective monitoring, regulatory compliance, and strategic transformation initiatives
Ensure robust detection, investigation, and reporting of suspicious activities
Deliver key surveillance system enhancements, automation, and risk mitigation projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the Bank's overall compliance and risk management capabilities
Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices, and implement appropriate measures to maintain compliance
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the wider organization on transaction monitoring and surveillance-related matters
Requirements
10 years of relevant experience in transaction monitoring, surveillance, or compliance within the financial services industry
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to anti mule / anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and other financial crimes
Proficient in data analysis, risk assessment, and the use of surveillance and investigation tools
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Proven track record in driving process improvements and implementing effective compliance solutions
