Job Function: Medical Affairs Group Job Sub Function: Professional Medical Education Job Category: Business Enablement/Support All Job Posting Locations: Mumbai, India Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an Assistant Manager Professional Education   located   in Mumbai, India.   A highly critical and visible   position within the   Professional Education   team that is responsible for creation and execution professional education ( ProfEd ) strategy for the   Trauma and MITEK business portfolio   in India for Health Care Professionals; including development of learning continuums, designing customized hybrid modes of education to enable access, forging external partnerships, and deploying new technologies and learning strategies that will guarantee the flawless deployment of the medical education strategies & concepts developed in collaboration with the regional team and DePuy Synthes Business teams.   Key Respo n sibilities:   Course Development   Design and create customized Professional Education courses for the   Trauma and MITEK   business in collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and the Business Unit (BU).   Digital Education Integration   Ensure the effective use of digital education tools by creating and implementing courses that efficiently educate healthcare professionals. This will include   utilizing   virtual reality (VR), online platforms, and tools such as Jji.com and   Proximie   to enhance the learning experience for HCPs.   Education Strategy Development   Develop an Education Strategy for new product introductions (NPIs) that are in the pipeline, aimed at training surgeons on the safe and effective use of NPIs.    Design & develop customized Professional Education courses for   Trauma and MITEK    business in collaboration with KOLs, BU   Ensuring seamless   utilization   of digital education tools and creating and implementing courses to efficiently educate healthcare professionals. This includes the use of virtual reality (VR), online   tools,   Jji.com,   Proximie   to enhance the learning experience of HCPs   Develop an Education Strategy on -NPIs which will be lot in the Pipeline – Making a strategy to train the surgeons on safe and effective use of –   Trauma and MITEK   NPIs        Requirement Professional Education Implementation (80%)   Develop and implement professional education strategies aimed at engaging HCPs   regarding   the safe and effective use of DePuy Synthes   Trauma and MITEK   products.   Faculty Development   Identify, onboard, and train faculty members to support the development of our Professional Education Program, including the creation of internal and external communications.   Collaboration   Foster strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to assess and implement innovative training technologies and models that align with our Professional Education   objectives .   Contract Management   Manage contracts with key education suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.   Event Logistics   Oversee the logistical management of educational events conducted by the   Trauma and MITEK   Portfolio Marketing / Sales team . Regulatory Compliance   Ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations and medical associations in the respective countries.   Innovative Programs   Support Professional Education initiatives by developing innovative programs and channels tailored to   Trauma and MITEK   in different countries.   Hands-On Training   Collaborate closely with Johnson & Johnson Institutes to   facilitate   hands-on training sessions for HCPs.   JNJ Institute Academy   Create a JNJ Institute Academy focused on   Trauma and MITEK   programs to   ensure safe   use of effective training for HCPs.   Course Development   Formulate operating guidelines, design course brochures, and develop   appropriate training   materials.   Academic Partnerships   Work collaboratively with medical colleges, academic institutions, and medical associations to drive Professional Education programs of   Trauma and MITEK   Portfolio    Technical Support   Provide technical   assistance   to Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information.   Performance Dashboard   Manage the Professional Education dashboard across franchises to   monitor   and report on progress.   Cross-Regional Collaboration   Collaborate closely with professional education partners across APAC, US, EMEA, Latin America, etc., to enhance HCP knowledge exchange programs.   Centre of Excellence Development   Develop a Centre of Excellence in   Trauma and MITEK   aimed at training a broader pool of surgeons on product knowledge and procedural learning.   Guidelines   Compliance   :Incorporate   the new guidelines (UCPMPMD) into the design and implementation of   Trauma and MITEK   programs, ensuring compliance with local government regulations. Adhering to these requirements is a key and mandatory aspect of our educational initiatives.   Digital education across DPS –10%   Working closely with the Regional Digital education   team  &   Local Digital education Manger for content development in JJI.com   Ensuring HCPs more footfall in the jji.com and develop customized education for them   Improve and adopt tele mentoring to expand reach and drive efficiency.   Working with Global team on the content inclusion in the VR Headsets. Dashboard for DPS (Data Matrix) – 10%   Post program feedback collection. & Creating a   dashboard to   measure    Objective and Subjective Assessment   Improvement in Training Effectiveness   Qualification   Education:   MBA candidates are preferred / science Graduates    Minimum 5 years’   experience surgical   specialties    (Desirable) Experience in professional Education; in developing and implementing fully integrated learning solutions.    (Desirable) Experience in leading businesses, with proven ability to understand business strategy and translate it into   educational   solutions (Professional, Commercial and Marketing Education) that support the company’s business goals.    Excellent communication, analytical, conflict management, complex project management, people   management   and development skills are   required .    Demonstrated ability to use digital tools   (Learning   Management Systems) for training and education.    High technological and business aptitude is   required .    Medical ethics and compliance.    Strong ability to embrace innovation and drive new thinking in the rapidly changing Healthcare Environment    Analytical abilities and solution orientation and proven ability to manage complexity &   thrive   in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances.    Strong organizational leadership, with   ability   to inspire and mobilize different business units and functions in a matrix environment.    Quality Improvement   Resource Optimization   Alignment with Surgeon needs   For more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness, career and life journey, please visit  www.careers.jnj.com .  Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our   Orthopaedics   business to   establish   a standalone   orthopaedics   company,   operating   as DePuy Synthes.
