Role Overview:
The role is responsible for developing, curating, and managing academic content and digital learning resources aligned with the university curriculum and learning outcomes. It oversees the effective functioning of LMS and UMS platforms, ensuring seamless course setup, content management, and technical coordination. The position also leads faculty training, supervises the LMS team, and promotes best practices in digital content development. Additionally, the role manages examination processes,academic records, and ensures compliance with accreditation standards, NHEQF, and NCrF frameworks. It also collaborates with academic and industry partners to enhance learner engagement and strengthen academic delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and update instructional materials, and digital content aligned with the curricula/syllabus received.
Curation of on-line content and/or content from SMEs based on learning outcomes.
Creation of content for student workbooks, logbooks and e-learning materials based on curated materials.
Manage LMS and UMS, ensuring uniformity, oversee course setup, troubleshooting, and content updates.
Supervise the LMS team, mentor staff, and train faculty on digital content and LMS operations.
Manage exam schedules, maintain academic records, and implement database systems for efficient tracking.
Build partnerships with academic bodies and industry partners to support learner engagement and compliance.
Conduct faculty training, ToTs, and content review sessions; promote best practices for digital content development.
Ensure academic content meets accreditation standards and implement streamlined assessment policies
Understand the National Higher Education Qualification Framework (NHEQF) and National Credit Framework (NCrF)
Understand other Technology platforms and ensure seamless integration of academic aspects with the online platforms
Any other work as relevant to the Department of Academics of the University as delegated by the University management from time to time
Qualifications & Skills Required:
• Graduate from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in LMS and eLearning with experience of handling a team
• Very good English language skills – spoken and written
• Expertise in LMS platforms, digital content development, and e-learning delivery.
• Adept at MSOffice, Video Editing and AI-Based content authoring tools
• Team management and project management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
