Assistant Manager, Global Assurance Team   Role Description The Assistant Manager will be a core member of Deloitte’s Global Assurance team, supporting the execution of high-impact global initiatives that drive growth and enablement for AI assurance capabilities across Deloitte member firms. The role blends market activation, offering development, revenue and pipeline analytics, global community support, and PMO (project management office) delivery, requiring strong, structured thinking, stakeholder management, and executive-ready communications. This professional will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting senior leaders through analysis, synthesis, and the delivery of strategic outputs while maintaining operational rigor across multiple workstreams. The Global Assurance team is expanding its global footprint by offering innovative thinking and frameworks, engagement processes, and ensuring Deloitte member firms are equipped to grow in their respective regions. The resource will have opportunities to interact with senior leaders across the organization and will also assist in the execution of various special projects that have the potential to significantly impact our organization. The professional will be a part of an internal strategy consulting team that influences strategic decision-making for the firm. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s business and professional services market at the global level. The professional will be expected to lead and/or assist on a diverse range of projects involving analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, produce executive presentation material, and demonstrate solid analytical and writing skills. The team’s projects are typically high-impact and high-visibility, aligned to the firm and leadership’s strategic priorities.   What you will do Global Assurance market activation and growth strategy: Support Global Assurance market activation  by conducting internal and external research on market trends, competitors, member firm positioning, and client demand to shape strategies that scale the business globally and locally (as applicable). Develop strategy artifacts (e.g., strategy decks, executive readouts, and business cases ) that translate market signals into clear priorities, investment choices, and measurable activation plans. Stand up and support global working groups  to align member firms on growth plays, differentiators, and deployment plans, ensuring follow-through from discussion to outputs. Global Assurance community support: Support a global community of 300+ SMEs across 35+ geographies  by responding to enablement needs and ad-hoc requests with speed and quality. Prepare, curate, and/or source GTM materials, tools, assets, and learning & development resources  to accelerate selling and delivery readiness across member firms. Identify and mobilize SMEs for pursuits and client opportunities, helping connect the right expertise to the right need at the right time. Facilitate global calls, webcasts, and working sessions across time zones, capturing actions, owners, and outcomes. Strategic, executive-level PowerPoint development and leadership communications: Develop compelling executive-ready PowerPoint presentations  for senior leader webcasts, community calls, and executive meetings; synthesize complex inputs into crisp storylines, decisions, and actions. Provide leadership decision support through structured analysis, clear narrative, and high-quality written communication. PMO across multiple workstreams: Operate as PMO support for the service area initiatives: maintain workplans, manage dependencies, track milestones, and drive closure on actions and deliverables. Manage project development through lifecycle stages (e.g., market assessment, launch, sustainment ), coordinating stakeholders and ensuring delivery discipline. Demonstrate strong program management capability and agility across concurrent priorities. Service offering development, frameworks, and pursuit enablement: Support the development and evolution of new and existing service offerings  by synthesizing: what clients are asking for, what member firms are already selling, and what the regulatory/standards landscape requires and is trending toward. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of frameworks, playbooks, methodologies, and supporting assets , ensuring global consistency while enabling local tailoring. Enable commercial execution by supporting pursuits, opportunities, and go-to-market materials , coordinating inputs from subject matter experts and member firm teams. Revenue, pipeline, and financial performance analysis: Conduct revenue/pipeline and financial analyses to understand global performance, using internal finance platforms (e.g., Jupiter) and structured data collection from the global Assurance network. Gather and validate pipeline signals and performance insights through 1:1 touchpoints  with member firms and global leadership. Support external research for market sizing  and growth opportunity assessments for the service area and synthesize findings into leadership-ready insights. Ad-hoc support: Respond promptly to Global and Member Firm leadership requests with quick turnaround , prioritizing effectively, and maintaining high-quality outputs under ambiguity. Flex between strategic and operational tasks, adjusting quickly as priorities shift.   Skills and Abilities: Analytical Skills:  Strong ability to analyze complex situations, evaluate multiple perspectives, and make informed decisions to drive project success and mitigate risks. Time Management:  Proven track record of efficiently managing tight deadlines and delivering high-quality results within challenging timeframes. Communication:  Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey project objectives, expectations, and progress to stakeholders at all levels. PMO Practices:  Demonstrated proficiency in PMO practices, including project planning, monitoring, and reporting. Technical Skills:  Exceptional technical skills (PowerPoint, Excel). Strategic Mindset:  Strategic mindset and critical thinking skills with the ability to execute on details and adjust quickly. Influencing Skills:  Ability to establish immediate credibility with key stakeholders within a company to build consensus and achieve goals through influence. Problem-Solving:  Problem-solving and communication skills that reflect structured, clear, and objective thinking. Flexibility:  Ability to remain flexible in an evolving environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity. Global Engagement:  Ability to engage global communities and facilitate meetings. Big Picture View:  Ability to have a ‘big picture’ view by identifying linkages across projects and workstreams Executive communications & presentation development:  Develop compelling executive-level materials (especially PowerPoint) that translate complex workstreams into clear decisions, risks, and actions; present to internal leadership as needed. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into concise narratives, with strong writing quality and structured communication. Candidate Background Education:  MBA from a reputed institute; Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university. Experience:  Post-MBA experience of 6-7 years in the internal or external consulting space with strong research, analytical, and writing skills, and an excellent command of the English language. Skills:  Strong PMO experience, ability to independently drive priorities from conception to launch/deployment in a fast-paced environment. Academic Qualification:  Master’s Degree or MBA from a top-tier institute. Track Record:  Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy.
