About the Role
Job Overview
This position directly reports to the vertical head. The job involves day-to-day review of accounting, reconciliation, and book closure on a monthly basis. This position is also expected to help in the compilation of monthly MIS.
Key Responsibilities
1) This position will be responsible for ensuring monthly book closure, reporting, cash operations, and tax compliance, as well as dealing with internal and statutory audits.
2) This role should ensure compliance with DOA in all transactions and formal dealings.
3) Interact with people in different departments and follow up with them for information/reports.
4) Monthly closing of books of accounts.
5) MIS Reporting: Preparing MIS reports in the standard formats and submitting them on a periodic basis for review.
6) Undertaking responsibility for indirect tax compliance such as SEZ, GST, EOU, and customs laws, including but not limited to statutory filing and regular review.
Qualifications and Requirements
1) Qualification/Experience: Experienced CA
2) Sound knowledge of finance/accounts.
3) Problem-solving skills (i.e., conceptual and analytical thinking)
4) Proprietary Thinking
5) Good Communication skills
6) Leadership skills.
7) Proficient in MS Office and tally
