Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Digital Marketing will lead Bala Vikasa’s digital marketing initiatives, responsible for planning and executing digital campaigns that strengthen the organization’s visibility, engagement, and program participation across online platforms.
The role will oversee the development of digital outreach strategies to promote Bala Vikasa’s programs, training initiatives, events, and institutional activities. Working closely with the Strategic Communications team, multimedia production studio, and website development team, the Assistant Manager will ensure that digital platforms are effectively used to reach target audiences and support the organization’s communication objectives.
The role will also focus on campaign performance monitoring, audience analytics, and continuous improvement of digital engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to support Bala Vikasa’s communications, training programs, campaigns, and institutional outreach.
Plan and manage digital campaigns across platforms including social media, search engines, and email marketing channels.
Oversee the management of Bala Vikasa’s social media platforms and ensure consistent digital engagement with target audiences.
Coordinate with the Strategic Communications team to promote programs, events, training initiatives, and institutional announcements through digital platforms.
Collaborate with multimedia production and graphic design teams to develop visual and video content for digital campaigns.
Work with the website design and development team to create landing pages that support campaigns, registrations, and information dissemination.
Monitor and optimize digital campaign performance using analytics tools and engagement metrics.
Track audience growth, campaign reach, and digital engagement to improve communication effectiveness.
Prepare digital marketing performance reports and provide insights for improving outreach strategies.
Ensure that all digital communication materials align with Bala Vikasa’s brand identity and messaging frameworks.
Identify new opportunities for expanding the organization’s online presence and audience engagement.
Guide and support the Senior Associate – Digital Marketing in executing digital marketing activities and managing day-to-day digital communication tasks.
Candidate Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
4–7 years of experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, or online campaign management.
Demonstrated experience managing digital campaigns and audience engagement initiatives.
Experience working with communication teams, training institutions, media organizations, or development sector organizations is desirable.
Skills and Competencies
