To collapse press enter Career Opportunities: ASSISTANT MANAGER (20875) Requisition ID  20875  - Posted  05/27/2026  -  BIOCON LIMITED  -  CENTRAL ENGINEERING  -  India    Job Description Print Preview Apply Save Job Return to List   Department Details Role Summary Should handle entire Utility as Shift lead Key Responsibilities To monitor shift operations • To monitor operations and maintenance activities for utilities and facility. • To authorize PM checklists and ensure that PM is carried out as per approved schedule • To ensure that annual maintenance is carried out as per the approved schedule • To plan for procurement of spares and consumables in the department. • Identify proper training needs in the department • Inventory management. • Ensure all equipment are operated and maintained as per manufacturer's recommendation. • Planning and execution of different types of maintenance of equipment and its accessories in co-ordination with users. • Preparation of equipment qualification • Issue of quality documents for data entry. • Report generation for utilities. • Routine operation and maintenance activities documentation. • Coordinate for execution of the projects taken from the department. • Evaluate the personnel who have undergone training. • Approval of specific equipment for use after completion of Preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance • Issue of work permits. • Issue of gate pass. • Verification of the invoice, bills and vouchers for the goods received. • Ensure instruments are performing and maintained as per manufacturer's recommendation • Review of instrumentation documents • Follow the established procedures and policies of the company. • Implementation of cGMP, EHS management system and ISMS. • Documentation and data control • Ensure smooth running of any audits (Internal and external) related to QMS, EHS management system and ISMS audits. • Corrective and preventive actions - implementation as suggested by Quality Assurance, EHS and ISMS. • Ensure safe working environment for the employees. • Decision making on priorities. • Completion of all mandatory and recommended trainings.
