Job Purpose
:
To drive sales growth and market penetration of power and distribution transformers in the Eastern Region by managing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and executing sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
:
Sales & Business Development
Identify and generate business from state utilities, EPC contractors, industrial clients, and OEMs in the East region.
Regularly meet clients, consultants, and government departments to promote the company’s transformer products.
Track and participate in regional tenders and bidding processes.
Follow up on leads, quotations, and negotiations to convert orders.
Marketing & Customer Relationship Management
Promote brand visibility through customer meetings, presentations, and product demos.
Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Provide after-sales support and coordinate with service teams as needed.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies in the region.
Provide inputs on pricing, product requirements, and promotional strategies.
Submit regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and CRM updates.
Internal Coordination
Liaise with design, production, and dispatch teams for timely delivery of transformers.
Ensure all sales documentation, including POs, approvals, and billing, is handled smoothly.
Support collection efforts and ensure timely payment from clients.
Key Skills & Competencies
:
Solid knowledge of
transformer technology
(distribution & power up to 132kV preferred).
Proven experience in
field sales
, preferably in Eastern India.
Strong network with
state utilities, DISCOMs, and EPCs
in the region.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and follow-up capabilities.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
