They will oversee account reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.</p> <h4><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>India Payroll Processing and Accounting</strong></li> <ul> <li>Process monthly<strong> Payroll </strong>in Greythr (Payroll Management System) and ensure accurate statutory deductions (PF, Income Tax, ESI).</li> <li>Maintain Salary Registers, Employee Loan Registers.&nbsp;</li> <li>Payroll <strong>Accounting </strong>in NetSuite.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage Commission and Bonus Accruals.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage Benefit Accruals like gratuity.</li> <li>Prepare Payroll Reconciliations between BambooHR (HRIS), GreytHR and NetSuite to ensure accuracy of gross-to-net calculations.</li> <li>Coordinate with Payroll vendors, People team (BambooHR), and India tax advisors on compliance and employee-related queries.</li> <li>Maintain Payroll Schedules and Disclosures for Audit.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <li><strong>Close &amp; Financial Controls&nbsp;</strong></li> <ul> <li>Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.</li> <li>Perform Bank and Cash reconciliations.</li> <li>Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform reasonableness testing on P&amp;L and balance sheet movements.</li> <li>Manage prepaids and fixed assets accounting, depreciation schedules, and asset reconciliation.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Compliance, Tax &amp; Audit Support</strong></li> <ul> <li>Maintain and update the global compliance calendar workbook.</li> <li>Maintain strong documentation and audit-ready schedules.</li> <li>Assist with India tax filings and coordination with India tax advisors.</li> </ul> <li><strong>India Tax &amp; Global Accounting&nbsp;</strong></li> <ul> <li>Maintain India tax compliance documentation and transfer pricing records.</li> <li>Process India income tax and GST entries and adjustments.</li> <li>Perform multi-entity reconciliations across India entities and consolidated books.</li> </ul> </ul> <h4><strong>You will thrive in this role if you</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Attention to Detail: </strong>This role needs to be highly detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in processing sales incentives and monthly payouts.</li> <li><strong>Customer-Centric Approach:</strong> Clear communication with non-technical&nbsp; employees with a proactive problem solving approach.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Organizational Skills: </strong>Efficiently manage dual responsibilities across various functions like AP, Payroll, GL and Bank while tracking numerous transactions.</li> <li><strong>Process Improvement Mindset:</strong> Maintain efficiency and accuracy in the accounting system.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> <li><strong>Integrity</strong>: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Want to learn more about HackerRank?</strong>&nbsp;Check out&nbsp;<a href="http://hackerrank.com/">HackerRank.com</a>&nbsp;to explore our products, solutions and resources, and dive into our story and mission&nbsp;<a href="https://www.hackerrank.com/about-us/">here</a>.</p> <p>HackerRank is a proud equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
