Job Role and Responsibilities
The Tax Assistant is responsible for supporting the Tax Team by performing various tasks, including:
· Assisting in tax compliance work as per instructions of senior team members.
· Conducting basic procedures and tests to verify records and data received from client
· Preparing and organizing data in accordance with requirements of GST act / rules
Ensuring the accuracy of statements / returns by cross-verifying with data and documents provided by client and reports of GST department
· Reporting findings / observations to supervisors and following up on feedback.
· Adhering to established policies and procedures for compliance.
· Ensuring value addition to the client and excellence in every assignment.
· Keeping your knowledge up to date and participate in seminars / trainings as and when required.
· Informing the Reporting Partner of all the critical/important issues regarding the clients you are managing.
