POSITION SUMMARY The Application Engineer will be responsible for reviewing customer technical specifications, providing product selection guidance, preparing quotations, and delivering technical support across sales, marketing, and customer service functions. This role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Review and analyze customer technical specifications and applications to recommend suitable products with necessary options and accessories. • Develop technical specifications and prepare quotations for selected couplings. • Provide technical support to Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Account Executives, and customers. • Address technical queries and advise customers on product applications. • Deliver techno-commercial product presentations to customers. • Communicate effectively with customers at all organizational levels. • Assess the feasibility of design modifications for non-standard configurations. • Analyze and modify existing coupling designs as required. • Coordinate large project inquiries and quotations, including multiple Regal Rexnord products. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for quotations. • Assist in training field representatives and new employees. • Maintain performance metrics and implement corrective and preventive actions. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • 2–3 years of experience in Application Engineering or Technical Sales. • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce (SFDC) preferred. • Strong English communication skills. • Excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities. • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CAD software.
