The Lead will act as the critical bridge between backend data systems, measurement and research frameworks, and organisational decision-making. This is a builder role under ambiguity.</p> <h2>Core Responsibilities</h2> <h3>1. Deliver analytics strategy and roadmap</h3> <ul> <li>Work with R&amp;I (Research &amp; Impact) leadership to iteratively define what Karya should measure across earnings, engagement, productivity, and impact. The two critical areas for automated pipelines will be</li> <li>Worker Impact and Well Being</li> <li>Engagement and Quality by Type of Tasks, Projects and Metrics to Strengthen Re-engagement</li> <li>Build an analytics roadmap aligned with organisational priorities, as per existing reporting mandates</li> <li>Shift from ad-hoc analysis to systematic decision-making</li> </ul> <h3>2. Build and own analytics systems</h3> <ul> <li>Design automated monitoring pipelines (SQL, Metabase, backend integration)</li> <li>Develop reusable data models</li> <li>Ensure outputs are scalable and decision-oriented</li> </ul> <h3>3. Bridge SQL and social research thinking</h3> <ul> <li>Translate research questions into SQL logic and measurable indicators</li> <li>Work on worker measurement, noisy data, and integration of disparate data sources.</li> <li>Ensure outputs are technically robust and methodologically sound</li> </ul> <h3>4. Operate under ambiguity</h3> <ul> <li>Convert vague questions into structured hypotheses and analyses</li> <li>Proactively identify key questions for the organisation</li> </ul> <h3>5. Strengthen data architecture</h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Tech on schema design and data quality</li> <li>Reduce manual data cleaning</li> </ul> <h3>6. Lead cross-functional analytics</h3> <ul> <li>Partner with Ops and Research teams</li> <li>Communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders</li> </ul> <h3>7.
