Job Summary
Skylark Drones is looking for highly capable AI Engineers to work on complex, real-world problems involving large-scale image data, intelligent agents, and automation-driven systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building systems that think, see, and act, and who are excited about solving problems that operate at scale in production environments.
You will work closely with the Founders Office, product, and engineering teams to design and build AI-driven solutions across computer vision, autonomous agents, and intelligent automation. The focus is on solving hard problems using data, models, and systems that create measurable impact for large enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy AI systems involving bots, agents, and intelligent workflows
Work on large-scale image and video datasets to solve real-world computer vision problems
Develop and optimize models for tasks such as detection, segmentation, tracking, and classification
Build end-to-end AI pipelines including data ingestion, training, evaluation, and deployment
Solve complex, ambiguous problems using a combination of algorithms, models, and engineering judgment
Collaborate with product and domain teams to translate real-world problems into AI solutions
Improve model performance, robustness, and scalability in production environments
Document systems and approaches to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning concepts
Hands-on experience building bots, agents, or autonomous systems
Experience working with large image or video datasets
Strong understanding of computer vision techniques and architectures
Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks
Ability to think systemically and solve problems end to end
Preferred Attributes
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
Exposure to vision models including CNNs, transformers, or multimodal architectures
Experience deploying AI models in production environments
Comfort working with unstructured data and noisy real-world inputs
Strong ownership mindset and bias for action
