About the Role
We are looking for a highly strategic, leadership-driven, and systems-oriented AI & Automation Strategist – Team Lead to drive the design, implementation, and scaling of automation-first solutions across the organization.
In this role, you will lead AI adoption initiatives, manage cross-functional automation projects, and mentor team members while ensuring measurable impact on productivity, efficiency, and business outcomes.
You will work closely with leadership and multiple departments to identify opportunities, define roadmaps, and implement scalable AI and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Strategy & Leadership
Define and drive organization-wide AI and automation strategy
Identify high-impact opportunities across departments
Lead workflow audits and define automation roadmaps aligned with business goals
Provide strategic direction on AI adoption and transformation initiatives
2. Workflow Automation & System Implementation
Design and oversee implementation of workflows using tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms
Lead integrations across CRM, project management, communication, and reporting systems
Standardize and scale automation frameworks across teams
Guide development of scripts and internal tools for operational efficiency
3. AI Integration & Advanced Solutions
Oversee integration of AI APIs such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and Google Vertex AI
Lead development of AI-powered assistants for reporting, documentation, QA, and internal knowledge systems
Drive advanced implementations such as vector search, embeddings, and agent-based automation
Identify opportunities to enhance development workflows using AI
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Development, QA, HR, and Operations teams
Drive automation across CRM, lead management, reporting, and internal workflows
Align automation initiatives with business goals and team requirements
Ensure seamless execution of cross-functional automation projects
5. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and mentor a team of AI and automation professionals
Establish best practices, frameworks, and standards for AI implementation
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Drive a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
6. Governance, Monitoring & Optimization
Define KPIs to measure automation impact and ROI
Monitor performance and continuously optimize workflows
Ensure compliance with AI governance, data privacy, and ethical standards
Evaluate new tools and technologies for adoption
Desired Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in AI implementation, automation, or workflow optimization roles
Strong experience with automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms
Hands-on experience with AI APIs such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, or Google Vertex AI
Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for scripting and integrations
Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and workflow automation
Experience leading automation initiatives and cross-functional projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
Experience in digital agency, SaaS, or IT services environments preferred
Nice to Have
Experience with vector databases, embeddings, LangChain, or agent-based automation
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD automation, or system optimization
Experience in organizational AI adoption or digital transformation initiatives
Knowledge of AI governance, compliance, and ethical practices
