Job Summary
Skylark Drones is looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on
Accounting Executive
to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial closures. The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience with
Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory
, sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards, and the ability to independently handle accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial discipline, statutory compliance, and reliable financial reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely posting of all accounting entries
Handle day-to-day accounting operations including
Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank transactions, and journal entries
Perform regular
bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
Manage
GST compliance
, including reconciliations, returns, and timely filings
Support
month-end and year-end closing
activities
Ensure appropriate accounting treatment in line with
Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
Coordinate with
statutory auditors, CA firms, and internal stakeholders
during audits
Maintain proper accounting documentation and records for compliance and audit readiness
Monitor expenses and ensure accurate
cost allocation and classification
Assist with
payroll accounting
and statutory compliances including
TDS, PF, and related filings
Identify process gaps and contribute to improvements in
accounting processes and internal controls
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
CA Inter Pass
Strong hands-on experience with
Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory (mandatory)
Good working knowledge of
GST, TDS, and statutory compliances
Strong understanding of accounting principles, controls, and reconciliations
Proficiency in
Excel / Google Sheets
