You will learn about our business and play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate monthly accounting and reporting, conducting internal reviews, and assisting in the audit process.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Help prepare financial statements and financial analysis for executive management.</li> <li>Support relationships and requirements with external auditors by preparing and providing documentation and explanation for transactions.</li> <li>Support financial statements reconciliation as well as internal and external presentations.</li> <li>Assist in preparation and review of materials for Board of Directors.</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc requests for analyses and information.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.</li> <li>Participate in improving processes, procedures and internal controls to create a robust reporting function.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Chartered Accountant (CA) required, CPA optional&nbsp;</li> <li>1 or more years of relevant experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Online)</li> <li>US GAAP understanding is desirable but not needed</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong work ethic, high integrity, and a team-player</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Highly inclusive and collaborative culture built on mutual respect</li> <li>Focus on core values, initiative, leadership and adaptability</li> <li>Strong emphasis on personal and professional development</li> <li>Flexibility to work remotely&nbsp;</li> </ul>
