About the Role
As an Accountant, you will work closely with our other accountants and operations personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping.
You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
• Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation @2021, Analytics Vidhya, Confidential
• Processing tax payments and returns
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Good to have Advanced MS Excel skills
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Semi qualified/qualified CA,CS
3 to 5 years of accounting/finance experience
