Job Title: Academic Counsellor
Working Days: 6 days a week (Sunday working, 1 weekday off)
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Academic Counsellor who will manage both
walk-in (offline) and online student inquiries. The role involves counselling students and parents
visiting the centre, as well as handling leads via calls and other channels to drive admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Counsel walk-in students and parents at the centre regarding courses, programs, and
career paths
• Convert walk-in inquiries into admissions through effective counselling and relationship
building
• Handle online leads through calls, follow-ups, and cold calling
• Guide prospective students and address their queries to drive conversions
• Maintain regular follow-ups with leads to ensure closure
• Update and manage lead data in CRM systems
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly admission targets
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission processes
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in student counselling/admissions or similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in face-to-face counselling is highly preferred
• Comfortable with cold calling and handling online leads
• Target-oriented with a strong ability to convert leads
• Knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage
