Key Responsibilities :
Responsible to develop robust 3D models using
Top-Down Design
and
Master Modelling
techniques to ensure parametric stability.
Manage complex assemblies, including the use of configurations, display states, and large assembly modes to optimize performance.
Manage files within a
PDM (Product Data Management)
environment (e.g., SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional). Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modelling and Vault for managing design data, ensuring efficient collaboration.
Develop 3D models & detailed drawings of datacenter in Solidworks ensuring adherence to industry standards and operational requirements.
Examine engineering drawings and 3D models for precision, completeness, and conformity to project requirements. This includes verifying dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and overall design integrity.
Support the project leader in ensuring the project is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
The role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Proven experience with SolidWorks, including hands-on design and detailing.
Proficiency of 3D modelling & drawings in Solidworks software.
Strong problem-solving abilities to assess complex drawings and models, proposing effective solutions when issues arise.
A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and continuous improvement in design processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members.
